So sometimes at the end of the day we have to take some time off. That’s why this post is not on a Sunday... or Monday for that matter. Bottom line we make our own damn rules!
We have been toying with the idea of using our projector for the light source and texture. We shot on a black background with just a spill of light coming from a side room. Our session was impaired by technical issues, lighting complications, painful posing and a lot of trying and trying some more. It took a lot of discussion after the shoot to choose what image to use of Chris. He on the other hand knew the image of me was the one when he saw it. In the end I think our images stand alone plus look great together.
On a side note, after we ended our shoot we had to scoop our son off of the studio floor and tuck him into bed with our faithful Siamese cat curled up by his side. It's pretty awesome how much our life has changed for the better.
