122: Grand Arid Expanse

This weeks SPF comes a day behind due to our locations isolation, nestled deep within the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma. This beautifully arid expanse has a sea of rocky heights to entertain a couple of adventurous photo lizards. From damns to precariously balanced boulders atop massive red rocked structures, it was a grand sight to see.

With only a single frame we tried to capture the sheer magnitude of some of the most impressive stone structures. Toting along our Canon 25-105, Nicky conquered a mountain and I perched heroically on a dam.
