Our images this Sunday came from the demand of our sick son. Luckily we could revel in his extra snuggly behavior. Since we spent the night before and most of the day at the whim of our ailing child we were less than enthused to be standing in front of a camera. So, what better time to sneak in a macro shot of our tired eyes.
We shot this standing on our basement stairs. It wasn’t the ideal place to do that but it evolved from a few ideas that didn’t work out. We used our Alien Bee with a honey comb to light just our faces. I fought with the glare in Chris’ glasses. But with a little posing and luck I found an image that I loved. Chris suggested this macro idea so he found his shot much more easily.
