For today’s photo we ended up experimenting in the studio with some help from friends. We had a lot of fun but our first idea was not turning out to be as awe-inspiring as we had envisioned. So on to day two in this edition of SPF. We tried a simple technique, warm and cool lighting. Our cool light source was a UV modified illuminated store sign that was propped up next to our faces. We shot on black paper with our warm light equipped with a honeycomb for the background light. We used our 35mm lens and tried to hold has still as possible while we posed for each other. All in all it was a fun shoot with plenty of changes made to find our final images.
