53: KANSAS BOUND

Our days of living in Virginia have come to an end, for now at least. But a new chapter has started in Kansas! But before that could start we had to make one hell of a haul to get there. Twenty two hours of a haul actually. We crated up the majority of our goods in metal pods and crammed all the essentials (camera equipment, computer, doughnuts, etc.) into both our cars. We then proceeded to head to the Midwest. I carried both cats, dubbing me the "Catty Wagon" and Nicky rode with the Guinea pig thus earning her the name "Pig Wheeler".

It wasn't all fun and games though, that's for sure. Snow covered mountain roads, moronic drivers, pissed off and screaming cats and sometimes white out conditions were just a few of the fun things we had to deal with. But the closer we got to our destination, the better the conditions and trip got. So we figured once we crossed into Kansas that we should pull over and take pictures to immortalize this event forever.
